The primary responsibility for this position is to open all new accounts on internal databases via workstation applications along with updating Pershing custodian database ensuring client information integrity from it’s starting point at Lockwood. 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

* Sort, distribute and process daily incoming new account paperwork received

 

* Review new account paperwork for accuracy, run an Equifax credit checks report and have signed/approved by Compliance Dept.

 

* Process new account orders thru internal OAO and Power Page systems and verify data posted

 

* Update and maintain new account information in the Central Data Base (CDB)

 

* Process custodial updates for new account opening and maintenance

 

* Act as backup for cashier function of incoming checks and stock certificates

 

* Participate in weekly team meetings held by manager

 

* Complete Pershing required job performance review both individually and with manager  

 

Qualifications:

 

* 1-3 years of financial services experience preferred

 

* Separately managed accounts experience a plus

 

* Excellent organizational skills required

 

* Solid typing and data entry skills required

 

* Ability to prioritize, work with set deadlines and proven attention to detail

 

* Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously

 

* Ability to work well in a team environment

 

* BA/BS required, business-related college degree preferred
