For more information, visit State Street's web site at www.statestreet.com Open Systems Analyst Assistant Vice President Basic Purpose and Responsibilities:Senior level systems analyst for multiple systems design initiatives. Works on complex projects, often integrating multiple phases. Provides leadership and systems analysis training to other team members. Frequently acts as team leader. May also act as a senior level technical contributor.Provides advanced expertise in analyzing and designing software applications. Oversees systems design and implementation of most complex design components. Creates project plans and deliverables and monitors task deadlines. Reviews and/or writes specifications for existing and/or new complex applications. Provides subject matter expertise in reviewing, analyzing, and resolving complex business or application issues. Assists testing managers with design and execution of quality assurance or user acceptance tests of software to minimize failures and impact to business and end users. Responsible for resolution, communication, and escalation of critical systems design issues. Identifies and recommends Industry best practices. Serves as a mentor and may manage junior staff. May manage the performance of staff members.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or equivalent; 5-7 years related experience; Experience supporting Solaris and AIX based systems; Strong experience configuring UNIX based systems; Strong communications skills.
