Job Description
On a daily basis, the Analyst will help oversee and coordinate the activities of all Cash Services functions including Shipping & Receiving, High Speed Processing, and Cash Administration. The Analyst will be responsible for work allocation and tracking, controls awareness and compliance, problem resolution, exceptions handling, customer interaction, reviewing the accuracy of work, and performing supervisory duties as assigned. In addition, position will perform analysis of data and statistics; and assist the department and/or district with ad hoc assignments and projects.
Experience in the following areas is preferred:
Maintain a full knowledge and understanding of all applicable custody, control, security and compliance procedures and requirementsAssign and use available resources to effectively maintain organized workflow, ensure appropriate distribution of work, and minimize staff idle timeDevelop processes and procedures that ensure staff meet productivity and quality targetsReview and ensure required paperwork is complete, accurate and organizedSuggest and implement effective changes to improve compliance, productivity, and operational proficiencyEnsure team requests are fulfilled in a timely mannerProvide additional operational support. May include support of software and hardware upgrades, conducting self-audits, and observing teams on video systemMaintain management reports and complete projects as requestedCoordinate and monitor equipment performance statistics and preventive maintenance tasks; work with FE, customers, vendors and other service providers as needed to resolve equipment problemsDemonstrate effective leadership skills by assuming ownership of problem resolutions, communicating with staff and management during problem resolution processes and apply sound judgment to recommended solutions.Give feedback to management on staff training needs and rotation and escalate necessary concerns: production, morale, communication and staff developmentProvide backup coverage for the department management and operationsDisplay a positive attitude and commitment to organizational goals and objectivesActs as a liaison between management and staff to communicate decisions from management and communicating staff or team issues to managementPerform analytical studies and projects as assigned to assist department, district or system requirements.
Essential Skills
Associates degree or 2 yrs college or more preferredMinimum 1 year related operational experience, including lead or supervisory experienceComputer skills, including working knowledge of Lotus Notes, Word, Excel, and Access, or a demonstrated ability to learn these applicationsDemonstrated leadership and training skillsDemonstrated sound organization skillsDemonstrated communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical skills, attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyAbility to work independently or with a teamAbility to multi-task and prioritizeHigh degree of motivation, self-directed
