Originating Manager - Wisconsin

Job Functions:The Originating Manager is responsible for representing PHH Mortgage in their local territory by developing and maintaining relationships primarily with Century 21, ERA and Coldwell Banker Brokers and Realtors. The Originating Manager oversees business development efforts of Mortgage Advisors while being personally responsible for their own closed mortgage loan volume. Provide leadership, direction and coaching to Mortgage Advisors. Resolve employee relations issues in accordance with policies and procedures as they arise. Develop and manage Real Estate Relationships within the region in accordance with PHH policies and procedures while maintaining quality sales and customer service objectives. Maintain adequate staffing levels to achieve the production goals and objectives of PHH and the Region. Originating Managers will maximize and enhance volume opportunities by promoting our competitive mortgage products, services, and programs in their assigned Real Estate Brokerages. Originating Managers originate mortgage loans using point of sales technology, or offer customers the choice of originating the loan via telephone or via the internet. Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of sales experience required with a minimum of 3 years experience originating mortgage loans. Experience in mortgage operations, processing or underwriting with a minimum of one year industry related sales experience may be substituted for mortgage originations. Mortgage management experience preferred. Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLC, FHA, and VA guidelines required. Thorough knowledge of the mortgage business on a regional level includes all appropriate laws, regulations, and guidelines. State licensing as required. Proven sales/relationship building and customer service experience. Proven selling, business development and relationship building skills required. Professional presentation skills, with both individuals and groups. Utilize MLS, Point of Sales systems, and Microsoft office product suite. Must have a valid driver's license.
