P1 Marketing Field Implementation Director (MFID) - Market Group 11 (Northern California)
Description:Drive manager and advisor skill development and execution of marketing strategies/techniques to deliver key business metrics within cost efficiency parameters:- Lead manager and pre-appointment/level 1 marketing plan/perfect calendar development- Lead advisor drill-for-skill training in structured fashion within local training curriculum. Topics would include sales skills, relationship networking scripts and tactics, conversion techniques, natural market development, referral networking, and HVC strategies- DOC (demonstrate, observe, confirm) manager and advisor key marketing tactics- Drive lead conversion from all marketing tactics- Ensure integration of Dream>Plan>Track client experience- Work as liaison between corporate office marketing and field Market Group to execute marketing plans / ideas and accomplish acquisition goalsCoach Level 2 P1 advisors to drive productivity- Lead business plan development- Coach and train on key techniques through partnership with P1 FVPDrive Implementation of Area Office Marketing Plans- Generate local audiences through networking, workplace, community organizations, etc.- Drive attendance and conversion at MG events- Adjust local strategies to new opportunitiesThe P1 MFID owns developing the advisor and manager skill sets required to achieve client/asset acquisition targets, overall advisor productivity targets, and cost efficiency of marketing dollars invested by P1 advisor. The role will split focus between training and coaching pre-appointment/level 1 advisors and managers and targeted level 2 coaching. Over time, the role migrate to focus more support level 2 advisors.. Measurements will be focused on MG and advisor productivity metrics, i.e. new clients/advisor, new HVC/advisor, average assets/GDC per client, financial plans sold, etc. This position will have accountability for the following states: CaliforniaQualifications:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- 3-5 years Financial Services experience, including at least 2 years working with field leaders and advisors- Must be highly regarded by the field and able to influence field leaders and advisors- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training; presentation skills- Proven ability to create and implement change, drive results and hold others accountable- Creative, conceptual skills in organizing information and communicating key messages that result in uptake- Working knowledge of marketing and acquisition techniques- 4-year degree- Series 7 required within 90 days of acceptance of the positionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with implementation of Ameriprise marketing programs- Experience in sales building practice / business through referrals and natural markets- Experience in implementing other Local Marketing campaigns including Seminars, Events, etc.- Experience influencing people to accomplish business goals without direct authority- Work experience in multiple settings (field and corporate office, or field and non-Ameriprise positions)- 2 years of leadership experienceSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceWe offer competitive benefits to eligible employees (including medical, dental, and vision plans).
