Our Client Services Group is currently looking for individuals with the following talent:   Financial Crimes Investigator III: Location: Poughkeepsie, NY, Hudson Valley North Headquarters JOB DESCRIPTION: FCI’s (Financial Crimes Investigator) are assigned to KeyCenters in retail bank districts located throughout the country as well as all lines of business within the company. They investigate fraud cases, as well as Prohibited Conduct violations. FCIs respond to robberies and other emergencies at KeyCenters and other Key Facilities, as appropriate. FCIs provide security training and coordinate KeyCenter physical security needs with Corporate Security, Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and Line Of Business (LOB) partners.  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Conduct investigations of suspected or known criminal activity directed at KeyBank as well as non-criminal, employee-related matters as assigned. Work with management to develop and deliver anti-fraud and robbery awareness training programs to bank employees. Document investigations in the Corporate Investigations case management system and make recommendations for prevention of subsequent similar occurrences. Prepare cases for criminal prosecution, present evidence to appropriate law enforcement agencies for prosecution, and file Suspicious Activity Reports with FinCEN as necessary Establish and maintain effective relationships with various business partners. Participate as assigned, in task groups and committees for the purpose of reviewing and improving policies, procedures and processes affecting Corporate Investigations or its business partners.  MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain liaison with law enforcement agencies and other institutions to ensure the corporation is informed of all relevant potential risks Work with collections and assigned legal counsel to pursue the recovery of lost funds. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Three to five years of investigative, law enforcement or relevant banking experience and familiarity with the Criminal Justice System. Must possess a professional certification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Financial Services Security Professional (CFSSP) and take all necessary steps to maintain this certification.  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred: degree in law enforcement, security administration, criminology or other related field or equivalent work experience.  COMPETENCIES/SKILLS: Effective relationship building Strong oral and written communication skills. High degree of organizational skill. Strong analytical ability. Effective time management skills. Self motivation Computer literacy Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
