Discover the leading team dedicated to helping more Americans achieve their dreams. * As ranked for 2006 by Inside Mortgage Finance (Feb. 2, 2007)© 2007Bi- Lingual Account Manager Shift A – Sun 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Mon-Thurs 4:45 PM – 9:00 PM Shift B – Tues-Thurs 4:45 PM – 9:00 PM, Fri 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Sat 7:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Shift D - Tues-Fri 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat. 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Primary Responsibilities Include:· Communicating regularly and effectively with homeowners that are seriously delinquent in order to identify and negotiate the best workout or collection option available for their individual needs. · Negotiating terms with all involved parties (homeowners, investors/insurers, brokers, etc.) from the initial workout solicitation pre-approval to the final approval of workout once supporting documentation is received. · Following up on all necessary documentation. Coordinating workout completion with applicable internal departments, when necessary.· Completing documentation of workout and/or collection efforts including communications, reason for default, workout/payment plans, update phone numbers and mailing addresses.· Preparing marketing materials based upon loan criteria. A Successful Candidate Will Have:· High school diploma or equivalent required · 1+ years - Functional· Ability to be a team player, detail oriented, self-motivated, and organize assigned work· Excellent comprehension, listening, negotiating and verbal communication skills· Strong analytical skills· Effective written communication skills as well as basic mathematical skills· Ability to multi-task and follow assignments to completion as well as maintain organization and manage time effectively· Knowledge of mortgage banking, familiarity with loan product specific requirements as well as general knowledge of state and federal laws relating to financial privacy, fair lending, collections, bankruptcy, workout, foreclosure, payoffs and assumptions· Ability to work with a variety of people with different levels of comprehension on how loans work and the consequences of their actions· Proficiency in Windows application· Typing speed - minimum 30 wpm. 10 key by touch· College courses in Business, Finance or other related field · Ability to navigate Countrywide's applications · 2+ years experience in high volume collection or telephone environment preferably in a mortgage/banking, insurance, real estate or other related environment The ideal Candidate May Also Posses:· College courses in Business, Finance or other related field Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
