  Job Title:   Part Time Exception Processing Examiner

Department:  Exception Processing

Location:  Flint

Job Level:   D

 

Must be available 7 a.m. – 12 noon Monday- Friday

 

Description of Position: Responsible for minimizing losses to the Bank by researching and analyzing exception items to determine appropriate action in posting to client account.  Utilizes a variety of systems, reports and data to ensure accurate and timely decisions are made, meeting regulatory guidelines and client expectations for transaction posting. Reviewing and analyzing all deposit exception and NSF items to determine appropriate action.  Tracking of daily decision queue totals to assist in completion of management reporting.  Analyzing, researching and resolving a variety of issues for internal and external clients.  Identifying and documenting reoccurring exception items that can be corrected and following up to resolve the issue.  Cross train on other positions and accountabilities as required.

 

Qualifications:  Strong knowledge of bank products and services is a plus.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Thinks through the client’s perspective and is committed to total client satisfaction.  Proficient in basic computer skills to be able to access and use various bank systems.
