Part-Time Teller- Castle Rock- 32 hours per week

Position Responsibilities:

o  Ensures that all activities and work functions comply with compliance requirements as defined in company polices and procedures and state/federal laws and regulations.

o  Adheres to security procedures and assigned cash limits.

o  Answers confidential inquiries relating to customer account balances, account numbers, interest charges and account activity.

o  Provides efficient, helpful and courteous customer service.

o  Explains bank policies.

o  Promotes bank services.

o  Accepts checks for paying and/or cashing to include verification of payee endorsements, funds and drawee bank, making decisions on the existence of stop payments, holds and uncollected funds.

o  Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the teller machine, including: input of all transactions, posting memo debits, placing Reg CC holds and daily balancing of assigned cash.

o  Processes courier bags and night drop bags, to include deposit change orders, TT&L payments, loan payments and CTRs.

o  Sells cashiers checks, U.S. Savings Bonds, traveler’s checks and processes cash advances.

o  Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory responsibilities by initiating SAR’s, placing Reg CC holds, anti-money laundering, etc.

Non-Essential Duties:

 

o  Cross-trains in various positions within the department as appropriate.

o  Performs other duties as assigned.

o  Processes business deposits that come in from business customers.

o  Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

 High school education or equivalent. Cash handling experience. Demonstrated aptitude for accuracy with numbers. Strong communication skills. Typing and basic computer experience. Good decision-making skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:Prior Teller experience. Experience in a Guaranty Bank/CBHI/Centennial Bank of the West position.

Pay varies based on experience.
