Part time Financial Services Consultant I

Description To receive telephone calls from customers, members of affinity groups, or prospective customers about PNC Bank products and services. The calls are predominantly routine but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. May answer inquiries, resolve problems, promote and sell products and services, and/or enter or confirm sales. May assess needs and suggest/promote alternative products or services. May research and resolve problems and communicate results to customers. In a skills-based routing environment, the incumbent takes/makes calls ranging from basic/routine to moderately complex. The National Financial Services Center is the contact center for the Consumer Bank. Financial Sales/Services Consultants work as part-time or full-time employees with seven day availability. The work unit is responsible for service delivery of PNC Bank consumer products and services by means of inbound telephone conversations The unit is the first line of contact for customers and as such is responsible for providing exceptional customer sales and service. The unit may consist of various levels of Financial Sales/Services Consultants who typically report to a Lead Financial Services Consultant. The work environment consists of work stations equipped with a personal computer and telephone. The incumbent will wear a telephone headset and be expected to spend 90 - 95% of each day in the work station taking calls. The incumbent is also expected to use the electronic and paper tools provided to produce required documentationRequirements Experience in a sales capacity within the financial services industry is a plus. The FSC will Posses strong telephone, verbal and written communication skills. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess exceptional Banking product and procedure knowledge.
