Personal Banker Provides quality customer service while opening accounts, processing loans, providing information. Responsible for customer relationship management, development and retention. Primary objective is to develop and support retail business in the branch by capitalizing on business opportunities and directly or indirectly influencing the production of revenue and the control of Retail expenses that contribute to the branch goal. Conducts interviews with customers to establish financial needs and makes recommendations to satisfy those needs. Builds customer relationships through account management and development. Delivers quality customer service and develops relationships with Contractors and Small Business Owners. Makes outside sales calls on prospects and established customers. Updates and inputs new accounts. Ensures proper documentation is obtained and processing the proper forms for transactions. Provides access to and opens new accounts for safe box customers obtaining proper signatures and identification. Participates in and completes all required training for Personal Bankers and Tellers. Meets with manager weekly to discuss progress in reaching individual goals. Works with Banking Center Manager to develop objectives for the branch. May provide leadership to the branch in Banking Center Manager's absence. Other duties as assigned.Personal Banker I, N15 - Typically requires a High School degree or equivalent and 2+ years of directly related experience. Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline. Proficient knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, banking and/or customer service skills.Personal Banker II, N16 - Typically requires a High School degree or equivalent and 4+ years of directly related experience. Contributes to the development of new theories and methods. Advanced knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, banking and/or customer service skills.
