In addition to achieving and maintaining individual benchmarks for both quality and quantity, a Portfolio Analyst is also expected to excel in teamwork. The position will be responsible for reporting and remitting to investors, trustees, third party master servicers, and/or agencies, including review and verification using various quality control measures.  Additional functions will include the review of property operating statements and rent rolls/lease summary of properties secured by various types of commercial real estate, compare the results of the operating analysis to local market conditions to determine the overall performance of the property, and identify any potential risk of default. The position will involve interaction with both internal and external clients. There will also be additional job duties and responsibilities as the opportunity arises. * Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience is preferred. * 2+ years of investor reporting experience and a strong commercial mortgage servicing background. * Experience with analytical review of property operating statements and rent rolls is preferred.* Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate loan documentation. * Knowledge of CMBS, FNMA and/or Freddie Mac Investor Reporting is preferred. * Strong commitment to ownership or responsibilities, results and quality with a sense of urgency. * Work independently and proactively to identify and solve problems and produce results. * Proficient knowledge of standard office equipment including PC skills with an emphasis using MS products (ie, Excel, Word, Outlook) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Outstanding customer service skills.   WaMu is an equal opportunity employer.
