To make your mark as the Portfolio Risk Policy Manager, Toyota Financial Savings Bank you will: -Develop champion-challenger portfolio management strategies (credit line increase, credit line decrease, collections treatment, authorizations override, and other TRIAD-executed strategies). -Work with marketing, finance, and marketing analytics, develop activation, utilization and retention strategies as appropriate for different acquisition channels: in-store new sales, in-store service sales, direct mail, internet, take-one, and events -Ensure that all aspects of portfolio management result in risk metric profiles consistent with the approved credit card program. -Evaluate FALCON realtime scoring implementation and ensure that fraud and early loss mitigation strategies are appropriate (efficient and effective) for the new card launch. -Evaluate cash approvals, authorization referrals and declines and develop optimized strategies -Establish a segmentation framework for the development of portfolio management strategies. -Review use of TRIAD decision keys; ensure data available in production for development of new keys. -Optimize portfolio management strategies, scores in terms of loyalty and profitability. -Develop process for the routine evaluation and reporting of all portfolio management processes. -Review existing fraud processes; revise policies and procedures for new card launch. -Establish benchmarks for fraud losses and monitor to ensure their attainment pre-launch. -Evaluate and revise risk policies for manual credit line increases and fee waivers. -Devise analytic measures to test and evaluate the manual execution of portfolio management policies. -Ensure a successful launch with strong process controls for all areas affecting portfolio management. -Work with product design to enhance existing card features and functionality; optimize for loyalty and profit maximization. -Evaluate and revise established performance benchmarks, forecast future performance and modify credit policy as indicated. -Document the performance of past credit policy decisions for senior management presentation, including credit line increase, manual and automated credit ceiling adjustments, including the impact of line increases relative to the program expansion into lower credit populations. -Initiate and execute risk projects for the existing card program, including assessing the appropriateness of manual and automated credit line increases, fraud reviews, fee waiver policies and procedures, VIP treatment, employee card strategies. -Assess the timing of credit line increases and evaluate the effectiveness of underwriting information and updated loyalty information for portfolio management strategies. -Ensure timely and accurate reporting on portfolio management practices and campaign performance. -Work with senior management to improve the back-end risk section of executive and board reporting. -Support internal and external audit evaluations, including updates to the portfolio chronology log. -Ensure synchronization of portfolio management strategies with collections operations. -Evaluate the impact of profitability score on portfolio management strategies for the existing card program. -Modify portfolio management strategies to address activation, attrition, severity of loss and other back-end risk issues. Qualifications TFS is looking for individuals with strong business sense and practical expertise. Successful candidates must have: -Strong prior experience in portfolio management. -Strong hands-on capability to develop and manage credit policy in full-spectrum credit card programs of $1 billion to $5 billion. -Experience in assessing behavior scores -This position will require a manager who is capable of managing direct reports, dotted-line reports in partner and contracted organizations and who has the skill and ability and willingness to work hands-on in an intense start-up environment. -Thorough understanding of compliance regulations. -Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. -Must be self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented.instructions.
