Preferred Services Investment Sales Director Job Description: The Preferred Services Investment Sales Director is accountable for overseeing a team of approximately 4-6 Investment Sales Managers who will be managing a team of Investment Specialists. These specialists are responsible for providing guidance on investment services and deepening relationships with existing and prospective Bank of America Mass Affluent customers in a call center setting. The Investment Sales Director will demonstrate a strong ability to build and lead a sales organization and must be able hire, develop & coach Sales Managers and Investment Specialists in a newly created organization. Sales Director will maintain responsibility for: Short and long term direction of the Preferred Services Investment Center Operation Tracking and monitoring of investment sales performance Providing effective and timely coaching to Managers and associates. Anticipating or identifying associate knowledge gaps or development needs. Facilitating regularly scheduled team meeting to promote cohesiveness, share best practices and ensure associate awareness of changes to policies/procedures and market conditions. Oversight to ensure adherence to compliance standards Providing assistance with escalated/complex issues/inquiries Willingness to demonstrate flexibility in schedule. The Investment Sales Director must be adept at handling situations which may require adaptation of response. Must be able to influence key leaders and decision makers Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 10+ years industry experience with 5-7 years managerial experience in an investment related role. Successful candidate should have a strong history of demonstrated success in investment sales management/leadership. Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of investment products and services, financial markets and the retirement space. Highly motivated self-starter with intense focus on results and winning. College degree or equivalent experience. Excellent communications, time management, organizational, risk management and leadership skills. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities. Industry designations desirable.
