Private Equity Internship

Job Description:

A private investment firm focused on providing private equity and debt solutions to public and private small businesses with less than $250 million in enterprise value is seeking to hire an Investor Relations Intern. For the right candidate, this position has the potential to translate to a full time associate position in Investor Relations.

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

Identify, contact, and qualify prospective institutional investors (Fund of Funds, Family Offices, Pensions, Endowments, and Foundations)

 

Utilize ACT CRM Software to document all client and prospect activity for the firm

 

Coordinate all requests for analysis, reporting, and due diligence within the organization

 

Update, prepare, and distribute all marketing materials including but not limited to monthly presentations and reports.

 

Assist in completion of RFPs and updating of DDQ and PPM.

 

Skills/Work Experience:

 

Ability to effectively articulate complex financial strategies to savvy investors. General knowledge of alternative investment vehicles including Private Equity and Hedge Funds. Candidate should posses analytic aptitude and have a fundamental understanding of finance and general market dynamics.

 

Ideal candidate is able to function at a high level, multi-task, meet strict deadlines, interact with senior team members and have the maturity and social skills to handle substantial contact with savvy financial professionals both within the investment community and within ComVest. Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken, is of paramount importance.

 

Candidates should have a strong academic background and demonstrated leadership experience.  Business related majors and relevant internship experience are preferred but not required.  Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Enrolled in, or degree from a top university; recommended GPA of 3.5+; strong references.
