Your success story starts here.In addition to the general job description for a Sr. Processing Representative,this position may review, research and process information regarding the compliance of customer deposit accounts or transactions with various banking regulations.Responsibilities include: Maintain an understanding of bank deposit regulations and how they relate to Washington Mutual and/or specific Compliance Servicing functions. Ensure that product and service policies are followed and customers and government agencies are notified with appropriate disclosures. Provide customer service to financial centers, internal and external customers. Process incoming and outgoing customer correspondence. Review documents and/or system reports for accuracy and completeness. Order documents necessary to perform customer account research. May perform maintenance to customer accounts to update or correct discrepancies. Minimum of one year of experience working in a retail bank back office production environment Detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast paced production team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Customer service experience and experience in dealing with high quality and quantity of work. Processing skills to include general typing,10 key and organization skills. PC skills to include Word, Excel, and Access Experience working with and/or between multiple computer screens, systems and/or reports to find required information. Knowledge of the following is preferred but not required:  Deposit Regulations, WaMu internal systems (eg, VB4, Hogan, Vector, Itreev, SAR, etc.), CheckFree applications (eg, APECS, Disc-IRS, LCRS).Washington Mutual is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
