Product Controller

Main Duties/Responsibilities of the Role:  

Supervisor and controller for the Prime Services PC functions in Raleigh around DBLite Swaps businesses.
Supervision and production of the daily PL reporting to Front Office traders.
Daily interaction and primary support contact for trader assistants.
Production of ad hoc reports for Front office traders.
Providing analytical commentary on a daily basis.
Investigating PL discrepancies, fails charges, and delta PL.
Supervision and production of swap-hedge reconciliations.
Control FX position balances across the various strategies.
Responsible for supervising month end procedures, reconciling to the general ledger, as well as producing month end reporting.
Develop automated processes to reconcile current and new trading strategies.    

     

Skills and Experience

Essential:

3-5 years industry experience in controlling and/or audit functions.
Basic product knowledge
Knowledge of swap products
Advanced Excel skills
Accounting/Audit background
Strong communication skills
Analytical with excellent problem solving skills
Team Player Proactive, self starter, who can be dynamic and implement process changes.
Desirable:
Experience in strategies involving swaps, swap-hedge reconciliations, and working closely with front office personnel.

Education/Professional Qualifications:
Essential:
A Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
