As our Client Service Coordinator, you will work directly our client-brokers to process loans at the wholesale level. Unlike most processors though, you will assess and sign off on conditions, actively engage with loan officers to "work" the loan, work directly with underwrtiers and other members of the staff on all elements of moving the loan from submission to funding, and work directly with field sales staff to trouble shoot and resolve problem loans. This is a highly visible and responsible position that requires a broad and exceptionally deep level of skills including:
3+ years of mortgage processing and/or underwriting experience in conforming markets (AltA and/or subprime helpful but not required).
AltA, conforming, and subprime marketsExperience with government, FHA, and VA very helpful.Exceptional strong communication skills, a strong client-service ethic, and the ability to maintain your effectiveness in a high-energy, dynamic environment. BA/BS in business, communications, marketing or related area, and experience building or designing systems, processes, and procedures is highly desired but not required.
You must also have a high level of positive energy and desire to provide an exceptional Client Experience. Key traits will include an outgoing, relaxed, and personable style, positive outlook and can-do mind-set as evidenced by upbeat communication that leaves listeners feeling that their issues are important and their problems are solvable, and a high degree of professionalism as evidenced in how loan and business issues are surfaced, discussed, and resolved, overall appearance, strong business and personal contact management and follow up skills, and verbal communications capabilities. Experience working in an entrepreneurial or early-stage company and a willingness and ability to make positive contributions in an evolving organizational structure are highly desired.
