Job Description
The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is searching for a dynamic individual to fill a Project Analyst position in the facilities department. The ideal candidate will provide technical, analytical and project coordination support to the District Facilities Management team. The majority of the work will be developing and managing the department’s capital and expense budget, and providing project coordination to support the facilities planning group. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of Federal Reserve accounting practices, rules, and project coordination experience.

In addition to budget responsibilities, the candidate will complete daily accounting and project coordination activities. Moreover, this position requires one to balance routine activities as well as ad hoc impromptu work responsibilities.

The Project Analyst will be expected to perform activities in a generally autonomous manner. Work activities will vary depending on the needs of the unique function of the department.

The duties of the Project Analyst include:
Work with the management team to prepare annual budgets and estimatesMonitor and reconcile with FP&C monthly expenses and capital expenditures and advise and explain discrepancies to management Analyze and prepare explanation on variance reports Prepare Lawson invoices for approval, vendor invoice reconciliation, customer billings on internal program, and other contract related activities Maintain accounting central filing systemAdministrator of Lotus Notes Work Order System Interface with management regularly Ad hoc activities to support the department

Essential Skills
Position Requirements
A Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or comparable work experienceExperience in project coordination/management

The ideal candidate will also possess the following:
2-5 years experience in a business function with exposure to FRB accounting practicesExperience working with budget development, expense analysis, capital project budgetsKnowledge of Federal Reserve Bank business lines and Federal Reserve-specific accounting practicesFinancial and budget development skillsTrack record of project coordination related to move management and/or furniture reconfiguration workExcellent time management and organization skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent working knowledge of MS Office applications: Word, Power Point, Excel, ProjectWorking knowledge of AutoCadd, and Archibus programs
