Project Manager -- Banking Opportunity for an Experienced Project Manager in Banking!Use your knowledge of processes in Financial Institutions and Project Management experience in this key role for our company.  You will work with the Operations units (branches, bookkeeping, proof department, general services, loan administration to name a few) of the bank on a strategic level.  Please visit our website at www.mercantilcb.com and apply online for the Program Leader position if you would like to be considered for this position.  The Project Management Office is located in our brand new Operations Center conveniently located near the Turnpike on Northwest 25th Street in Doral. Ø Work as a liaison between assigned Portfolio and Business Managers (clients) Ø Complete the preliminary evaluations of new requests in a timely manner as dictated by performance indicators.   Ø Channel all projects identified in an expedited and efficient manner to the respective area in Operations and Technology responsible for its execution. Ø Maintain frequent and open lines of communication with other Program Leaders regarding key developments, key issues, etc...  Ø Ensure that all policies and procedures developed by the PPM Management be implemented in the execution of projects. Ø Lend support to the Project Leaders regarding the interdependence between projects and priorities within the assigned program. Ø Understand strategic business initiatives and current portfolio as it relates to assigned programs and objectives Ø Ensure that the Project Leaders understand clearly the business goals of each project, and that the projects be completed to the satisfaction of the client. Ø Follow up with other areas of Operation & Technology on specific projects for the assigned Portfolio in order to ensure progress, resolution of issues, and effective execution according to the established methodology. Ø Maintain a customer and service quality focus Ø Identify and report to immediate supervisor any current or prospective risks to earnings or capital arising from violations of, or nonconformance with, laws, rules, regulations, prescribed practices, internal policies and procedures or ethical standards.
