Job Description:

 

We’re looking for a self-starter for this newly created position.  This person will be responsible for developing the Quality Control role by looking for ways to improve and promote quality.  Should display original thinking and creativity; generate suggestions for improving work; develop innovative approaches and ideas.  Must be able to work with minimal supervision and/or direction.

 

This person will also be responsible for audits for pre-funding, post closing as well as state and HUD audit preparation.  Other areas would include risk management and compliance review while working closely with the Underwriting, Processing and Closing departments.  You will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.

 

Position Requirements:5 years experience in Quality Control and UnderwritingStrong Underwriting background in Conforming and Government LendingExcellent communication skills (oral & written)MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
