We currently have an excellent opportunity in for an extremely organized team leader to be accountable for cost effective management of the activities and efforts related to new branch openings (de novos), branch relocations, and branch consolidations.

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Work closely with Senior management in formulating the overall bank’s Branch Network strategies
• Serve as a liaison between Regional Banking Group (RBG) Divisions and Corporate Resources
• Provide leadership, direction and coordination to achieve the objectives of the Bank
• Strategize and communicate with Division Executives on an ongoing basis to determine their needs for branch locations and establish priorities for locations based on the Bank’s best interests
• Develop/implement processes and templates for Senior Management approval necessary to proceed with branch locations requests
• Perform detailed analysis of Division needs and make recommendations based on research and analysis
• Exercise administrative control over the functions and activities related to the Branch Network expansion, including the development of standardized procedures for the same, and ensure adherence to such procedures going forward through Project Management programs
• Build teamwork among groups associated with the branch expansion process, including Division/Region, Marketing, Compliance, Facilities, IT, Human Resources, Real Estate, Legal, and RBG
• Establish an efficient communication system for tracking the progress and results of all branch expansions, and  ensure effective measures are taken to resolve various situations as they arise
• Create financial templates and monitor budget guidelines for branch expansion
• Ensure compliance with personnel, management and operational policy and procedures
• Manage employees through subordinates, usually other supervisors, and establish performance goals
• Ensure all activities minimize the loss exposure of the Bank’s assets and of the Bank’s credibility to its customers

This position requires:

• A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of project management experience
• 5+ years of experience with financial analysis
• Bank/branch operations or related experience
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, construction, and real estate
• Knowledge of real estate contract negotiation & management desirable
• Research & analysis utilizing Excel and other spreadsheet software
• The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Proven experience creating and conducting effective presentations
