Job ID: 219Position Description: The Recruiting Department at CarMax Auto Finance has an exciting opportunity for an experienced RecruiterGeneral SummaryResponsible for understanding organizational recruiting needs and effectively sourcing candidates to fill those needs in a timely manner. Requires creativity in developing effective recruiting sources, plans and strategies, month end analysis and reporting regarding recruiting activity and strong self-motivation and drive. In addition, the ability to work in a team based environment.Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Understand staffing budgets and client hiring needs. Develop and maintain strong partnership with internal clients. Execution of department recruiting strategy through assessing and utilizing the most effective recruiting sources (cold calling, internet sourcing, effective use of job boards, networking and career fairs etc..). Manage job postings on internal and external sites. Screen non-exempt /exempt resumes and applications. Conduct exempt and non-exempt candidate phone screens to assess viability and make quality recommendations. Present viable exempt candidates to hiring manager with written summary of job qualifications and experience. Candidate follow-up through regular contact, scheduling interviews and/or offer letters. Maintain integrity of applicant tracking system and document retention. Assessment and completion of all required recruiting reports. Ensure compliance of company programs (Internal Transfer Requests, Self-Nomination and referral bonuses etc.). Assist with applicant testing and drug screening as needed. Participate in College recruiting activities. Other miscellaneous recruiting projects as assigned.Position Requirements:Job SpecificationsStrong ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-energy environment. Self-motivated and energetic team player that demonstrates flexibility. Ability to problem solve and deal with a variety of situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interview candidates over the phone or in person. Ability to assess people and situations. Strong Analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic typing skills of 35 wpm. Intermediate PC skills i.e.. MS Office, Word and Excel. Associates degree and 2-3 years related recruiting experience. Complete CarMax Auto Finance training as required.
