General/Other: Human Resources Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: High School or equivalent Job Description: Job ID: 221Position Description: Carmax Auto Finance has an exciting opportunity for a Resource Specialist working in the Recruiting department!General Summary:Works with Recruiting team to facilitate candidate screening, scheduling and reporting. Acts as the primary resource in facilitating the Background Screening process to ensure CarMax Auto Finance new hires are individuals who demonstrate the highest level of integrity in their interactions with Customers and fellow Associates.Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Facilitation of the Loss Prevention process including administration, reporting and conducting all Loss Prevention follow-up interviews. Partner with Human Resources on required follow-up interviews as applicable and communicate status to Recruiter. Source hourly candidates on Job Boards and Recruiting Databases as required. Conduct pre-screen interviews for applicants to gather information regarding education, experience, salary requirements, and career goals prior to referring to recruiting team.Contacts community job placement services, colleges, universities, technical schools, etc. to promote CAF career opportunities and interface with job counselors and prospective candidates.Coordination of all off site recruiting activities such as Job Fairs. Positively represents CarMax Auto Finance at job fairs and other recruiting functions/activities; coordinates participation of management staff at job fairs as applicable. Maintains all related job postings with a high degree of accuracy, both internally and externally; maintains in-house job posting database.Partners with marketing department in placing employment ads with newspapers, trade publications, magazines and college/universities. Shares in the applicant Drug Screen collection process. Process background screening paperwork for salaried candidates.Responsible for all Month End, Quarterly and Ad Hoc reporting needs. Applicant tracking system maintenance and data entry.Facilitate all internal and external salaried candidate scheduling. Responsible for scheduling candidate travel and processing T & E’s.Administration of PMB testing.Position Requirements:Job Specifications:Work requires ability to:Ability to multitask. Ability to meet deadlines is essential; excellent time management skills.Must be self-directed and able to prioritize workload.Must possess excellent organizational and follow-up skills.Ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with applicants and internal customer base.Must maintain strictest confidentiality,Follow projects through to completion,Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes,.
