An RCO will be assigned primary responsibility for a group of markets, with secondary responsibility to back up other RCOS' markets. In addition, the RCO provides backup to the Senior Credit Officer (SCO) in his absence or as directed by the SCO. The RCO will provide guidance on the types of loans that are appropriate and how to best structure loan requests. The RCO will assist in developing and effectively implementing the AMCORE credit culture, including transitioning new banks into the credit culture. Through the onsite review of the market group's Problem Loan Status Reports (PLSR's), the RCO will assist in the management of problem credits in the bank's portfolios.Required SkillsUnderwriting/approval of complex commercial/Ag credits.Workout/liquidation of complex commercial/Ag credits.Management of Commercial/Ag Relationship Managers.Experience working with regulatory agencies and internal Loan Review.Management of Loan Operations/Administration a plus.Excellent oral and written communications skills.Portfolio management experience.PC proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.Required ExperienceBachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field Experience: 10 years Commercial/AG lending 5 years management of a commercial/AG division is recommended but not requiredAMCORE Bank values a diverse workforce.
