Reporting Analyst/Developer

Summary: Provides information, performs complex data analysis, develops reports and dashboards, and recommends solutions to Call Center management as needed, by being a subject matter expert within the enterprise reporting environment and analysis activities. This position was created due to the reorganization/centralization of enterprise reporting. This individual will have responsibility to manage enterprise change to report and dashboard metrics and operational data. Additionally, this role will analyze and publish data to solve specific business problems/recommend solutions as required. The information this role manages is primarily used to manage associate performance, compensation, and provides and input in associate MAP (Maximizing Associate Performance) processes. Additionally this information provides views into the operational effectiveness of our customer service, collections, loyalty, Inventory Control, and Administration departments. This information is published to line, senior and executive management. To make your mark as the Reporting Analyst/Developer, you will: -Create ad-hoc reports to meet management needs for one-time analysis using Siebel Analytics, Siebel Answers, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other reporting tools. -Provides complex analysis to answer business problems by being a data subject matter expert. -Develops views into business operations by producing data "dashboards", providing management the ability to make proactive business decisions based on accurate information. -Recommends data publication solutions to solve business problems presented. -Develops metric to measure associate performance and operational effectiveness. -Guides reporting audience in the use of appropriate metrics for associate performance. -Identifies reporting efficiencies, and provides solutions for enterprise reporting change. -Performs unit testing of production reporting. -Subject Matter Expert on all associate performance and operational metrics. -Subject Matter Expert in reporting and dashboard design, access, and tool navigation. -Support escalation, proving an escalated level of technical support for all reporting and dashboards. -Works directly with Center Of Excellence management to recommend enhancements as required. -Assures Privacy and Compliance regulations are upheld in the use of Customer Data -Assists in development and Support of other CRM technology management initiatives Qualifications TFS is looking for individuals with strong business sense and practical expertise. Successful candidates must have: -Minimum three years of experience in trend analysis. -Former Analysis role within a large volume call center or captive finance and/or insurance strongly preferred -Former Analysis role at an "enterprise" level preferred. -Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Good written communication skills. -Self-starter and independent. Team oriented and results driven. -Ability to interface with all levels of management. -Demonstrated complex problems solving skills. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. -Familiarity with data modeling, meta data layers, and relational database structures. -Strong analysis skills, understanding complex formulas, data transformations, and record keys from multiple sources. -Understanding of SQL required -Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Lotus Notes preferred. -Spreadsheets with advanced formula application and database software (e.g. Excel and Access) experience required. -Experience with advanced analysis tools (eg.: Siebel Analytics, SAS, Informix, Cognos) required. -Experience with Siebel (Oracle) Analytics strongly preferred. -Understanding of CRM Concepts preferred.
