Residential Loan Officer

 

DESCRIPTION

The Mortgage Company (TMC) is seeking experienced loan officers to originate residential loan programs to meet individual and branch production goals. TMC is looking for loan officers with at least one year of experience originating conforming, FHA, and subprime loans and a firm grasp of the origination process from the application to the closing table. TMC is looking for loan officers who have the ability to close the leads provided to them and who are not intimidated by a commission only pay scale. This is a full time position, part timers need not apply.

Day-to-Day Functions -Transition direct mail and self-developed leads to originate and close loans to meet production goals.

-Review applications to determine what program best fits the customers' needs. -Accurately prepare and present all state and federal forms to the customers in the required time frame. -Meet with customers and gather all necessary information and documentation. -Ordering title work, appraisals and assuming other responsibilities to ensure timely closings are also essential functions of the position.

   

 

REQUIREMENTS

-Excellent sales and relationship building skills. -Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills. -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, high volume, goal oriented work environment. -Strong organizational skills. -Exceptional ability to work independently. -Ability to follow up and ensure commitments are met or exceeded.
