Backed by the strength of Countrywide Bank, FSB, one of the nation’s largest federal savings banks 1, our brand has survived the test of time, which is why we’re a prime career destination for so many qualified sales professionals. Building wealth and rewarding careers, Countrywide Bank, FSB, is one of the largest banks in the nation with current assets of more than $100 billion.1 From offering highly competitive deposit product rates to outstanding career possibilities, experience the extreme value we place on entrepreneurial talents and our team’s innovations. 1.  Ranking based on First Quarter 2007 as reported by the FDIC2.  As ranked for 2007 by Inside Mortgage Finance (January 25,2008) ©2008Reverse Mortgage Loan Consultant Primary Responsibilities Include: ·  Conducting Sales Calls on Senior Consumers and their Advisors to solicit Reverse Mortgage business, originate applications and complete/submit correct Loan Packages ·  Providing product and industry knowledge to Consumers and the Advisor Network ·  Educating and assisting the Senior Consumer in the buying process and completing all duties required to originate a Reverse Mortgage Loan Application Package ·  Advising potential borrowers regarding appropriate loan programs and processes ·  Maintaining ongoing communication with Consumers throughout the loan process ·  Accepting Loan Applications and obtaining documentation, disclosures and other forms in accordance with regulatory and Countrywide guidelines ·  Setting-up loan files ·  Forwarding loan files for further processing ·  Maintaining files on all active and pending customers ·  Establishing and maintaining a follow-through system for weekly customer-contact ·  Monitoring, tracking and reporting Loan Production results ·  Coordinating monthly and quarterly reviews with the Reverse Mortgage Area Sales Manager ·  Identifying and networking with professional Advisors and influencers in the local Senior Market ·  Using Business Development skills to generate referral business and support the Reverse Mortgage needs of customers ·  Developing an effective Customer/Advisor Database and using relationship management skills to strengthen position within each segment ·  Maintaining current knowledge of Reverse Mortgage product, industry activities and Senior Consumer profile and needs ·  Remaining conversant with current Reverse Mortgage Lending Programs and Underwriting guidelines, current trends in local market place with regard to Real-Estate Sales, Property Values, Lender activity and competition in the local market ·  Achieving and maintaining Reverse Mortgage Certification through ongoing study and performance on exams ·  Maintaining knowledge and complete required training for correct origination of Reverse Mortgage LoansA Successful Candidate Will Have: ·  High school diploma, GED or equivalent ·  3+ years of related experience ·  2+ years experience in a Sales capacity within the Reverse Mortgage field ·  Proven volume of Reverse Mortgage Loan Production (minimum of 6 to 8 fundings per month) ·  Experience developing and implementing targeted Marketing and Sales Plans ·  Comprehensive, working knowledge of Pre-qualification principles and practices ·  Understanding of the Selling process ·  Excellent organizational and time-management skills ·  Excellent presentational and verbal/written communication skills ·  Proven Business Development and Territory Management skills ·  Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint ·  Ability to effectively interact with customers and other Business Partners ·  Ability to work flexible hours and weekends on a regular basisThe Ideal Candidate May Also Possess: ·  College degree Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
