Risk Management ERO Performance Analyst

Descriptiono Assist in the development of Risk Management reports and monitoring mechanisms used in the monitoring of ERO performance.
o Assist in the user testing of Risk Management reports to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
o Assist in the user testing of underwriting rules associated with automated tax return screening process.
o Make positive recommendations as to means to improve reports, processes and tools.
o Complete timely evaluations and identification of potentially problematic EROs through recognition of abusive or fraudulent tax preparation activities. Individual will make timely and insightful recommendations to Senior Management
o Review of Unfunded Loans report and other Risk Management reports designed to uncover patterns where tax returns may not be funded by the IRS.
o Perform post season portfolio analysis and evaluation to determine continued ERO suitability for the TRS program.
o Work closely and in a cooperative manner with all other TRS/Republic departments and business partners.
o Other duties as assigned. Required Experienceo The position requires knowledge of Tax preparation and IRS rules & regulations
o Experience in Tax Preparation
o Certified Public Accountant, Enrolled Agent, CID / IRS Field Agent a plus Required Educationo High School Diploma required
