Compliance and Operational Risk Management



RREEF - SAN FRANCISCO



The Operations Associate will be responsible for the management of operations initiatives with a special focus on compliance and operational risk management.



Coordinates the information gathering and preparation for the RREEF North America Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.



Develops, maintains, and manage policies and procedures for the RREEF organization.



Manages Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives.



Assists with the rollout of Compliance training initiatives.



Serves as gatekeeper for direct investment management delegations.



Acts as a liaison with Audit, and works with department heads in bringing resolution to audit issues.



Provides coordination/assistance for the following programs/initiatives: Gift and Entertainment Reporting, Record Retention, SEC audits, AML.



Project management for strategic projects, as necessary.





Skills Required:

Minimum of 5 years experience in operations, legal or compliance preferably with a real estate company.



Experience with compliance initiatives in the real estate industry is strongly preferred.



Bachelor’s degree is required.



This individual will be of the highest integrity. He/She must be a team player and someone who is committed to excellence in all endeavors.



He/She must be very collaborative and able to work with a variety of people in a project management role. This position requires an analytical and organized individual who is able to set priorities, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and who takes initiative. He/She must be a self-starter who can work autonomously.



Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.



In addition, this person must have experience and be effective giving presentations.
