Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm Qualifications Bachelor's degree or prior work experience in the financial services industry with experience in a risk management, audit, or risk consulting role a significant plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of colleagues within CFG. Strong technical skills with industry knowledge and experience in Operational Risk Management. Basel II and/or Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) experience a significant plus. Proven business judgment with a track record of delivering "customer-oriented" service to business line managers. Detailed oriented individual with excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Prior experience as a team member on projects with proven ability to prioritize multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required; MS Project and Visio significant plus; SQL / MS Access significant plus. Experience with Centerprise or other ops risk platforms and methodologies a major plus. Responsibilities The Business Analyst will act as liaison between the users and technical staff incidental to both project work and production support. This shall involve working with subject matter experts to understand business needs, gather requirements (through interviews and research), facilitate communication between all relevant departments, and document findings. As a project resource/manager, the successful candidate will support all phases of the project life cycle including participating in regular status meetings regarding progress and direction of the initiative, defining functional and technical specifications, assisting with test coordination and execution, as well as tracking and resolving project issues. As a production support resource, this individual will also support resolution of user issues and application defects, including the completion of service/change requests as required.
