Normally directs a section or group of risk reviewers in conducting the most complex projects. Receives only policy level direction from management. Typically requires eight or more years of experience with two years of supervisory experience.Essential Functions: This is a highly visible position that requires establishing trusted relationships with business unit management throughout the corporation. The successful candidate must effectively partner with other KeyCorp Risk Review teams and demonstrate proficiency with the following: - Independently perform the most complex risk reviews (analyze levels of operational and compliance risk), audits and examinations of business unit functions - Recommend efficient and effective processes for managing risk - Execute annual risk review/consulting plans - Test internal controls - Interact with senior level management within the organization in order to communicate and sell difficult concepts/issues as appropriate - Coordinate and manage risk reviews - Supervise a staff - Occasional interaction with regulatory agencies and external accounting firms may be necessaryRequired Skills:- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field - Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills - Knowledge of industry - Excellent relationship management, presentation and writing skills - Strong organization skills - Self motivation - Ability to multi-task - Ability to independently make decisions - Proven ability to independently work with high level business unit management and deal with complex issues - Proven ability to "sell" difficult concepts and issuesPreferred Skills:- Experience with the following operational and technology practices: continuity and recovery, crisis management, information security and physical security - Professional certification such as: Certified Risk Professional (CRP) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist (CFIRS)Relocation Provided = No Life at Key is exciting, challenging, and rewarding.
