SENIOR INCOME PROPERTY APPRAISER / REVIEWER

It’s why “Putting people first” is a part of everything we do. Reporting to our Manager of Commercial Appraisals, you will be responsible for: review of commercial/income property appraisals of all types; property site inspections that serve as collateral for new and existing mortgages in the commercial, construction and residential lending areas. Among your specific responsibilities, you will:*Review commercial appraisals of all property types for accuracy and compliance with our lending guidelines.*Conduct property site inspections for new and existing mortgages in the commercial, construction, residential lending areas and Asset Review.*Solicit and process appraisal fee quotes from independent fee Appraisers for Commercial Real Estate Lending and assist in the maintenance of the Approved Commercial Appraisers List. *Maintain knowledge of real estate appraisal standards and market trends affecting the commercial real estate industry. The ideal candidate will have:*5+ years of multi-family, commercial and residential experience*Broad-based knowledge of residential appraisals*New York State General Certification (Senior License)*Advanced appraisal courses recognized by the Appraisal Institute*Knowledge of Word and Excel software*Knowledge of all regulatory requirements*Solid written and oral communication skills*Valid driver's license For immediate consideration,send resume and salary requirements to: jherrera@astoriafederal.com  You MUST indicate that you are applyingfor this position in order to be considered.  Position Information Job Title: SENIOR INCOME PROPERTY APPRAISER / REVIEWERLocation: LAKE SUCCESS, NY 11042Status: Full Time, EmployeeJob Category: Banking/Real Estate/Mortgage ProfessionalsRelevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 YearsCareer Level: Experienced (Non-Manager)Educational Level: Certification
