The primary role of this inside sales position is to make outbound telephone calls to small business prospects and/or customers through an organized lead-generated outbound calling program.  This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in telephone sales, customer service, and in building rapport over the phone.

 

This position offers a base salary plus commission and requires sales officers to meet department goals and thresholds each month in order to qualify for commission. 

You must possess the following:

 

Energetic outbound (phone) calling skills with the ability to set qualified appointments over the phone, along with superb customer service skills.Be a persuasive individual and have superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Confident phone demeanor, enthusiastic, goal-oriented and self-motivated. Basic computer skills required.  Contact management software experience preferred. An understanding of bank products and services preferred, but not required. College degree and/or outbound call center experience strongly preferred.

 

Previous outbound telemarketing experience with a strong background in customer service and in building relationships over the telephone with business owners, CEOs, CFOs, etc.Union Bank of California offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including a 401K plan.
