SQL DBA

Currently have a need for a SQL DBA with client connectivity TDS/TCP/IP package experience for a contract assignment Ideal Candidate would be responsible for Administration Distributed Database Technology. Also responsible for building tools and engineering solutions to facilitate product development life cycle and production infrastructure operations. Should be well versed in administration of relational database environments including installation and configuration of Microsoft SQL Server (Oracle, Sybase, and IBM a plus) and adjunct products in both clustered and stand-alone configurations.  Ability to perform SQL Code analysis and debugging and make recommendations to improve efficiency of database design. Ability to develop programs and design solutions on Windows/Intel and Unix/Sun/Fuji server platforms to enhance automated monitoring of production operational services. Provide engineering support to application development groups business lines.
