Provide independent analytical studies, support and guidance with respect to forecasting balances, interest rate risk in $14 billion + projected balance sheet portfolio. Support CD&TM's and ALM's advances analytics for evaluation of strategic and tactical risk management options. Assist deposit product manager and line managers in forecasting interest and non-interest bearing balances, interest rates and trend analysis, related income and expense for CD&TM markets. Recommend appropriate risk management options and rate mitigation options. Work with Treasury and Finance to understand interest rate forecasts and impacts to CD&TM markets and balances. Perform independent data mining, analysis, and reporting within CD&TM markets. Actively ensure compliance with Union Bank's Business Standard of Conduct and all Patriot Act. CIP,  Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures.Experience in commercial banking including deposit products, interest rate modeling, transfer pricing and profit planning. Bachelor and graduate degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, finance, or computer science. Knowledge and experience in modeling interest rate sensitive commercial DDA fee income and expense highly desirable.
