Sales Manager - Latin America

Headquartered in Chicago, TT maintains a global presence with offices in North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Overview:Due to tremendous growth we are expanding our Houston sales team. This key hire must be able to work independently selling our market leading software product lines to Financial Institutions in the Latin American market place. This position reports to the Managing Director of Sales based in Houston. Responsibilities:· Develop new business by generating new leads, cold calling, networking and trade shows in a new territory.· Travel to potential clients in Brazil, Mexico and other applicable countries.· Ensure clients are satisfied with products, services and overall TT relationship.· Identify new and incremental revenue opportunities.· Maximize sales opportunities whenever possible and as appropriate.· Maintain ongoing contact with potential clients, ensuring appropriate number of client visits.· Work with Global Support and Account Managers to ensure all service and training is in place and managed.· Assist other Sales Managers with selling activity, as appropriate.· Attend trade shows, industry events, internal meetings and conferences, as required or appropriate.· Produce sales activity or other data and reports, as required.· Provide suggestions and recommendations for new or enhanced products or industry opportunities.· Ensure proper client billing, cancelations and other revenue updates are processed and communicated effectively. Requirements:· Must be bilingual (Portuguese and Spanish are preferred).· At least two years of direct sales experience, preferably within the electronic trading industry. · Proven track record of independently developing new business in the Latin American market place is a must.· Excellent sales abilities and client-facing skills.· Prior vertical experience calling on Hedge Funds, FCM’s and soft commodity producers.· Strong working knowledge of the Futures Industry including terminology, trading styles, technologies and overall general knowledge.· Ability to put together successful entertainment/educational events for the Latin American Futures community.· Must be very driven and able to work independently.· Strong communication skills (written and verbal).· Good understanding of technology. · Ability to manage multiple client relationships successfully.
