Join our team!  Senior Economic Analyst An opportunity exists within the policy development unit of the Supervision and Regulation department.  As an Economic Analyst you will collect, analyze and prepare economic data through a variety of econometric resources for management, internal and external clients. You will also prepare economic analysis reports for management. Responsibilities:  •Develop and apply statistical methods to analyze economic data for research projects and publications. •Evaluate and prepare economic reports through data analysis.  •Administer databases to extract and analyze economic data using a variety of programming languages. •Perform system administration tasks to maintain data integrity and ensure efficient system operation. •Serve as a subject matter expert on methodologies for analysis and research publications with the purpose of furthering research on relevant topics by outside parties. •May contribute as co-author in various publications. •Provide training and advice to less experienced economic analysts. •Perform other duties as assigned or requested. •Adhere to the Bank's attendance policies through regular and prompt attendance.  Requirements: •Master’s degree (Public Policy, Public Administration, or Economics preferred)•4-7 years of related work experience •Knowledge of complex and diversified procedures, practices, and policies •Proficiency with complex business machines (computers, etc.) •Ability to perform involved, independent research and creative work •Specialized, technical skills •Thorough understanding of a scientific discipline (for example, economics, management, computer science)  Please Note: This position requires access to confidential supervisory information, access to which is limited to “Protected Individuals” as defined by regulation of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.  Protected Individuals include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent resident aliens or “green card holders” who are eligible for U.S. citizenship and seeking such citizenship.  If you are selected for an interview you will be required to present documentation of your eligibility prior to the interview.
