Senior Loan Workout Officer

Location: Houston, Texas (Greenway Plaza)Requirements:BBA, BA or equivalent.  Prefer a  minimum of 3 – 5 years commercial loan collection experience and/or 5-7 years bank lending experience.  Job Duties:This Special Assets Relationship Manager position will be responsible for the collection/recovery/or rehabilitation of assigned commercial problem loans and other bank assets.  The primary job responsibility of an assigned commercial loan portfolio with the goal of maximizing the recovery of that portfolio while minimizing the expense and risk exposure.  Duties of managing such a portfolio usually includes developing and installing workout plans, valuing the collateral, reviewing and preparing loan documents, engaging counsel to assist in collection, foreclosing upon collateral and liquidating collateral.  Other responsibilities may include the marketing and maintenance or ORE properties; preparing periodic reports for department and executive management; collateral/site inspections; and customary collection routines.  Some travel will be required depending upon the location of the collateral or borrower.  A working knowledge of Microsoft office system – Word, Access, Excel.  Must be well organized and able to function at a high intensity level in a sometimes stressful environment.  Must possess good written and verbal communication skills as this position will be in communication with all levels of senior and executive bank management, vendors and customers.For more information about employee benefits and open position at Compass, please visit www.compassbank.com (About Us)If you meet minimum requirements for the position, please email your resume to: tanya.troy@compassbank.com   Compass Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer Please visit Compassbank.com for information on the many opportunities and employee benefits at Compass Bank!
