Senior Network/Security Technician
Your responsibilities will include implementation, planning, and maintenance of Windows Server environment, MS Exchange, and security-related technology including third-party firewall monitoring, security breaches, access control, and anti-virus and spyware applications. You’ll implement policies that will help direct the planning, implementation, and execution of the IT infrastructure, general overall network operations, and facilitate defenses against security breaches and vulnerability issues. Additionally, you’ll analyze and resolve vulnerability issues, as well as be responsible for auditing systems, while directing the administration of security policies, activities, and network and security standards.
Qualified candidates will possess:A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience-based knowledgeA minimum of 5 years experience Strong knowledge of Windows, Ethernet, LAN/WAN communicationsExperience with networks, PCs, and network securityGFI event log monitoring and McAfee products knowledge desirableStrong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
In addition, you’ll be required to stay abreast of upcoming technology and remain current on networking and security technology trends.
