Senior Policy Analyst (Compliance)

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Policy Analyst in the Washington Office of the Division of Supervision and Consumer Protection.  Responsibilities would include servings as a subject matter expert on consumer protection laws, regulations, and policy applicable to financial institutions, and developing, implementing, and evaluating national policies and procedures to carry out the Corporation's responsibilities in consumer protection and compliance matters.  Such activities would include developing consumer compliance regulations, supervisory policies, and bank examination procedures with representatives from other FDIC divisions and other government agencies through interagency working groups.

Compensation is competitive, based on educational qualifications and experience.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of specialized experience analyzing and evaluating existing and proposed consumer protection laws and regulations that relate to banking and other financial products and services, and identifying policy or procedural issues relating to examination and enforcement activities involving consumer protection in a banking or financial institution setting.
