Senior Risk Analyst

The Senior Decision Technology Analyst plays an important role in forecasting loan loss for National Citys Small Business Portfolio. This position will work with senior decision analysts, collection managers, and chief credit officers to develop short-term and long term loss forecasts. Additionally, this position will assist in the management of the Allocation for Loan and Lease Loss reserve process including monthly loss provision reporting. Additional Responsibilities Include:Reporting, Tracking, and Analysis of the Small Business Portfolios, utilizing SAS program and Excel macros.Quarterly validation of Consumer Lending and Small Business models components.Creation, development, and continued monitoring of monthly loss forecasting and LOCOM adjustment results as they pertain to the Small Business Portfolio. Creation and production of quarterly and monthly reports that analyze key attributes of the Consumer Lending and Non-Prime portfolios.Validation and Warehousing of the Small Business data in SAS format. Developing process with Collection Managers to better understand trends and developments of the Small Business Collection activities.This position will produce a forecast that will be used for setting loan loss reserve levels for all consumer loan portfolios.Forecasts monthly loan losses for all consumer business lines that are submitted to senior management.QualificationsQualifications:"Financial analysis experience. "Database skills, such as SAS."Banking / financial institution experience, (preferably mortgage experience)."Ability to translate information into the presentation packages such as Excel and PowerPoint."Bachelor s degree in a financial discipline. "3-5 years related work experience.
