Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Hours per Week 40 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm Qualifications BS/BA in a quantitative discipline (i.e. statistics, econometrics, mathematics). MS/MBA preferred. At least eight years of credit risk/credit portfolio risk, and score based analytics experience in Financial Services or Management Consulting with significant exposure to Business or Consumer Cards Businesses preferred. 3-5 years project management responsibility with demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful closure. Excellent influencing, consulting, organizational leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. Ability to manage and handle conflict. Ability to handle conflicting priorities. System Savvy with strong technical skills (i.e. SAS, SQL, Microsoft Access and Excel. Lean Six Sigma training and certification a plus. Responsibilities The Senior Risk and Analytics Manager: Scored Portfolio will work with Director of Credit Risk to develop and institute portfolio management techniques to minimize operating losses. Perform trend analysis. Analyze exposure by industry classification and compare to regional/national and card association averages. Directs and participates in the design, development and implementation of relevant, statistically derived models and quantitative analysis projects using PC based applications. Ensures clear and concise documentation of all analysis conducted. Performs special projects and creates and delivers presentations as they arise. Presents findings, analysis and recommendations to senior management, Director of Credit Risk and Business line CRO. Develops early warning system and migrates portfolio from annual renewal strategy to event driven review cycle. The Credit understand portfolio risk management scoring models, systems, and actions along with their associated success measures. The Senior Risk and Analytics Manager: Scored Portfolio Validates tools using industry standard reporting. Monitor a portfolio of 50,000 small business loans for problem situations and make recommendations for action to senior management. Mitigate risk by actively engaging Business Banking Managed Assets Department in early warning process. Assist in development of pre-delinquency, post delinquency, non accrual, charge-off and recovery remediation strategies. Develop updated credit policy proposals for Business Lending portfolio as required and successfully usher proposed policy revisions through the Risk Policy Committee approval process and will ensure business practice adheres to published Credit Policy within corporate risk thresholds.
