Help First American Payment Systems continue as a leader in the credit card processing industry by acting as a Senior Staff Accountant.  Qualified candidates will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, general ledger analysis, monthly financial reporting, assisting with the budgets, updating and maintaining fixed asset register and working with external auditors.

 

Requirements:Monthly financial statement preparation and analysis experienceWorking knowledge of GAAPExperience with general ledger and month end closeAccount reconciliation experienceExperience in working with external auditorsFixed asset accounting knowledgeAdvanced working knowledge of Excel and a basic understanding of WordSkilled in working with accounting software programs, Great Plains experience a plus but not requiredFamiliarity with report writing programs similar to FRXBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required with 3 to 5 years experienceCPA or CPA candidate preferred but not requiredExceptional written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills
