Job Description:
Position: Senior Systems Engineer
Reports To: IT Director

Job Purpose: System Administration & PC Maintenance
Essential Functions:
Responsible for server administration and maintenance, hardware resource management, Active Directory administration, backup management, Exchange administration, and file and print management. This also includes enterprise level support of applications such as Citrix and other infrastructure applications. The ideal candidate will also deliver value in the areas of infrastructure planning and support, analysis, design, development, testing, setup, technical documentation and reporting.
Responsibilities: Be a subject matter expert for infrastructure server technologies (e.g. Active Directory/LDAP, Citrix, Exchange 2003, RADIUS/ISA Services, Backups, DNS, RightFax) Design and implement Metaframe XP and Presentation Server 4.0 Farms, identify and troubleshoot Citrix Software issues. Provide in-depth technical expertise on infrastructure projects Assess and recommend architectural designs/changes to customer systems in response to business or technical drivers. Serve as liaison to partners to facilitate problem resolution. Clearly communicate problem/resolution process to customers or management. Contribute to written proposals and technical documentation. Assist with network and application troubleshooting.
Skills and Knowledge: OS Software: In-depth knowledge of current and pending Microsoft Windows operating systems and other operating system knowledge. (Previous experience using: NT domain/Active Directory, W2K/2003, Exchange 2003, Citrix, ISA Server, IIS, DNS/WINS, SMTP, RightFax) Citrix/Applications: Scripting, Application Packaging, Citrix Technologies, Citrix Metaframe XPa, Resource Manager, Installation Manager, Citrix Secure Gateway, Citrix Web Interface/Nfuse, and Secure Access Manager/Nfuse Elite Networking: Solid understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts, including the principles of network routing and client/server architecture. Productivity Tools: Proficient in the use of the current suite MS Office productivity tools (e.g. Office 2003, Visio 2003, etc.)
Education and Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience Citrix Certified Administrator CCA (MetaFrame XP, Presentation Server 4.0) required MCSE 2003 preferred
Experience (including previous job experiences):
· Minimum of 5 years administration experience in Windows environments (desktop and server)
· Minimum of 5 years troubleshooting experience in Windows
· Background in mortgage and retail banking preferred
· Some experience with Cisco network devices (routers, firewalls, and switches)
· Some experience with network management tools (fault and performance management)
· Some experience with FISERV software a plus

· Must be willing to travel (minimal)
· Must work well in a team environment
· Must be able to interface with users/customers
