Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Systems Analyst / Developer

Summary description:

This individual will be responsible for providing technical development and support for the ECM platform (imaging, document management, web content & collaboration). This position will be responsible for leading technical aspects of the Company's ECM approach including working with the ECM manager, application teams, business liaisons and sponsors. In this role, the individual will be responsible for analyzing business requests and processes, developing and implementing enhancements/solutions, supporting the environment and users.

 

Essential Duties include:Active participant in the design, development and implementation of ECM application architecture. Provide overall day to day development and technical support on: ImageRight systems; workflow, web services, Application Integrator scripts, e-mail receiver maintenance, Sentry support, and general scanner support, maintenance activities, performance monitoring / performance improvements. Provide overall day to day development and technical support for Microsoft SharePoint and Web Content environments including the Company's intranet and internet sites.  Develop integration between applications (back end) utilizing web services and/or BizTalk. Develop and implement workflows. Develop front end integration (web parts). Become an integral team member by working with all departments using ImageRight by analyzing their business process changes/requests, make recommendations as well as help in the imaging and assist in new department implementations as directed by the ECM Manager. Assist and conduct in general platform user acceptance testing and support as assigned by the ECM Manager. Work with the ECM Manager on ImageRight projects and initiatives by providing support and taking on sub-projects:

o Create, execute and maintain application training and testing documentation

o Execute updates to the Workflow

o Analyze and implement change requests

o Analyze ImageRight’s role within the different departments and recommend improvements.

o Coordination of overall ImageRight initiatives with other global locations for global conformity (Bermuda, UK)

o Provide support to Security officer(s) for new security requests or security audits

o Provide support for Help Desk tickets

 

Qualifications:Educational background – Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and/or at least 4 years in IT related operations. 3-4 years of software development experience (Microsoft .Net / Visual Studio) including web applications and web services.  Experience with Microsoft SQL Server required. Microsoft BizTalk experience is a plus. 1-2 years experience with Enterprise Content Management applications or workflow systems. 1-2 years in Microsoft SharePoint development. Lotus Notes experience a plus. Strong verbal, interpersonal skills, team building, and collaboration skills. Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
