Sharepoint Developer

Senior Software Developer.

**** The candidates must have sharepoint and WSS 3.0 experience ****
Candidate will be responsible for working as a senior software developer on custom development projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Will be responsible for developing custom webpart solutions that will reside on the US portal. The candidate will be responsible for coding, testing, packaging, and deploying SharePoint solutions.
2. Will work with the technical leads, business analysts, and project managers to translate design into product, including programming, testing, and implementation tasks.
3. Will prepare and maintain related technical documentation.
Qualifications
**Must have experience building enterprise solutions based on .Net and SharePoint technologies. This person is expected to spend 80 ** 100% of their time in as a senior developer.
**Should have expertise in CAML, Site/List definitions and templates Schemas, Features/Event receiver development, solution package development and custom Workflow development.
**Should have experience in a mature **enterprise level** development team. They must have experience in deployment as well as enhancement and support projects.
**Must currently be working as a developer and spending 80 to 100% of their time on hands-on development activities.
**Must be experienced with Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 and WSS 3.0 in developing Web Parts and related coding techniques, best practices, and feature deployment, and WSS 3.0 object models.
**Should have extensive experience working with .NET web application development using C#, XML and ASP.NET 2.0 (user controls, custom controls, data/business components)
**Must have solid experience working with CSS incorporating with ASP.NET pages.
**Must have at least four years experience as a developer responsible for the development of business applications using Object-Oriented methodologies and tools.
**Should have solid experience working with Javascript and DHTML.
**Candidate should have direct exposure to all project life cycle phases (define, design, develop, deploy, support) within the past 3 years.

Experience with any of the following a plus:
**Enterprise portals
**AJAX

Design Experience:
**Object Oriented Analysis & Design
**Design methodologies and modeling languages such as UML, ER modeling, process modeling (DFDs, BPEL4WS)
**Presenting and advocating for design solutions

Technical Experienced Desired:
**Understanding of Network Architecture Components and Windows Operating System
**Experience with Design Patterns and OO Best Practices
**Experience with technologies supporting Web Services: XML, Soap, WSDL, UDDI etc
