Works closely with the Commercial Actuarial Support Services Manager, as well as the Actuaries, Directors, Managers and programmers to redesign and automate the existing and new processes. Creates reports, models and databases using SAS, IMPACT, spreadsheet software, and other software for the Pricing Support Unit. Analyzes and evaluates data from additional sources that add value to the rate review packet and make necessary recommendations. Prepares the periodic updates of the catastrophe reports using RMS, EQECAT, or other modelling software. Updates the databases required for the catastrophe models. Provides technical support to the Commercial Actuarial staff regarding EDP resources. Assist with the development, acquisition, distribution, installation, and maintenance of Actuarial information processing hardware and software systems. Performs other functions as assigned..
