I) Position Summary
Under the direction of the Training Manager/Supervisor, is responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of training programs for TCF. Assess training needs, design, develop and administer training programs.
II) Major Areas of Accountability
A. Recommend, develop, administer and evaluate training curriculum to assist TCF departments achieve stated goals and objectives
B. Evaluates the impact of training programs on the productivity and profitability of TCF and its employees. Makes recommendations for continuation, revision or elimination of programs as necessary.
C. Develops and executes needs assessments and testing procedures to identify training and development needs. Make recommendations for training based on data collected.
D. Consults with others and financial institutions to identify up-to-date training programs and materials appropriate for TCF.
E. Assists all levels of management in identifying and conducting special training needs.
F. Recommends, acquires and maintains training materials including video, resources and equipment.
G. Prepares training outlines, scripts, expected results, evaluation and related materials.
III) Minimum Qualifications
Education Required:
Work Experience/Skills
Required:
· Three or more years experience in training and development including needs assessment, design, delivery and evaluation or three plus years of business line experience
· Evidence of strong analytical, oral and written communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to operate independently and meet deadlines in time sensitive situations
· Demonstrated presentation skills; ability to analyze and speak effectively to groups
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Participates in Advisory Team meetings.
· Evaluate and monitor a Learning Management System.
· Provide support and feedback as needed to individual states training departments during pilot and rollout phases.
· Assist in the coordination of HR projects including documentation of procedures, status reports, communication and implementation
· Cross-train on Lawson functionality to serve as backup for project support.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years experience in conducting needs assessment and curriculum design, development and evaluation or 3 years HR applicable experience.
· Demonstrated aptitude for course design & development
· Strong presentation skills
· Knowledge of banking, customer service and operations
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
