Software Engineer III

Job Description: It is planned that this resource will be included as part of the project team supporting the PNCBuys suite of applications, including PNCBuys, PNCPays, PNC T&E PNC Contracts and PNC Spend Analysis. Maintenance activities include things such as day to day production support and problem resolution, upgrades to new releases and the ongoing development of enhancements and customization to all Ariba modules. Required Skills: Normally requires a BS degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems and three to five years of experience and programming responsibilities, or the equivalent combination of education and experience utilizing the following skillsets. Experience with the Ariba Spend Management modules that PNC has implemented. Specific experience with Buyer, Analysis, Travel & Expense, Sourcing, Invoice and Contracts is preferred Object Oriented Java development experience XML programming experience Javascript programming skills Knowledge of SQL query language, Perl scripting and file transfer techniques Exposure and understanding of the eTechnology hosting environment where we currently host the Ariba Buyer module Experience with Sun/Solaris and Intel/Linux Experience with application server technologies such as BEA Weblogic and IBM Websphere Must have good functional / business process analysis skills Experienced providing technical and application support of an eProcurement application Good overall communication skills Must be a team player and willing to work and share knowledge gained Interested individuals please submit your resume by selecting the "Apply Now" button.
